Sinkholes are formed due to piping of soil in deep, Mainly where there are calcareous soil then due to water
infiltration to soil, lime will react with water and soluble then flow out. This process form like pipe in deep of soil this mechanism is called piping. After some time on formation start of piping it also start to create suction pressure which will increase with increase of pipe length. So it suck the soil from surface.
